Our Story

I have been interested in and captivated by architecture and construction since my childhood. Growing up, I observed and participated in the construction of two of my family homes built by my family. Both of my grandfathers were carpenters and passed their knowledge on to my father and siblings. Being the youngest of four kids and the only girl, it was quite normal for me to be surrounded by male-oriented athletics and careers. To me, it was a natural fit to follow in the footsteps of my dad and grandfathers; to continue the legacy of design and construction in my family. It wasn’t until going to college and finding myself in the entry-level architectural design course that I realized becoming an architect was the career for me. As my career has evolved over the course of nearly 25 years, I have found that connecting design with nature is where my inspiration journey begins with every project.
